Monkey See, Monkey Do...Times Two!!!

It's so funny how your kids can help you to see the way you do certain things or common phrases that you use without even realizing it. For instance, Daddy is realizing that when he feeds Drew, he makes a silly "Buh,buh, buh, buh" sound that I'm guessing is supposed to be an airplane or something. In this video you can see Drew imitating him when he wants more food.

And Evan has picked up on how to use an iphone to play games. In this video he is playing a game called "paper toss" or as he calls it "trash". The goal of this game is to toss the virtual wad of paper into the virtual trash can. I'm not sure if you can tell in the video, but he sat down with the phone, unlocked it, found the paper toss icon, chose the easy setting, and started to play. When he misses he says things like "Oh Darns" or "Oh crumb," which he got from Aunt Bri Bri (whose a kindergarten teacher).

On a side note here are some other funny little sayings that Evan has along with the person whom he hears say it most often.

"Oh my"-Grandma

"Turn Loose"- (Said when he wants you to let go of something he wants)-Grandma

"Oh Boy"(Said when you rub vix on his chest)- Grammy

"No thanks, I'm good" (Said when you ask him to do something)- We're not sure where he got this one.

"WATCH THE STOP SIGN!" (Said EVERY time I am driving and we see a stop sign)- Mia,Grammy, Daddy, Bri Bri- I guess anyone who has ridden with me has said that :).

"No Drew...No Drew...ALRIGHT THAT'S A TIME OUT" (Said every time Drew tries to take a toy from Evan)-Momma, Daddy

"Try Again!" (Said whenever it looks like someone is struggling with something)-Daddy, Momma, Grandma, and his teachers.

"Turn on the sky!" (Said when he wants Bri Bri to open her sun roof)- That one is all him!
