Evan's second Christmas has now come and gone!

Evan counted down to Christmas with this cute Advent callendar that Grandma got for him. Everyday he got to open a new door in the callendar, which revealed a piece of chocolate. Needless to say he finally busted 20 lbs this month! Coincidence? Anyway, here is Evan after he opened his last piece of chocolate on December 24th. He looked so sad when he said "All gone."

This was a busy, but fun, Christmas this year. We started off having our own little Christmas on Christmas Eve morning. Evan really got into the fun of opening presents. He took his time, though, and wanted to play with everything right when he opened it. It was great!

Daddy had to work a little that morning. But when he got home we packed up to go to Dallas to spend Christmas with Grammy and Poppa. While we were packing, this is what Evan was doing.

Christmas was fun with Grammy and Poppa. Evan continued his path of destruction in Dallas with the opening of more gifts! Evan had so much fun playing with the cool new four wheeler that Grammy and Poppa got for Evan and P.J. The boys also had a lot fun playing in the washing machine box at Pa Pa and Grandma Edith's. You never know what they will consider "entertainment."

When we left Dallas, we had a little bit of down time before we celebrated Christmas with Mia and Grandaddy on New Year's. Evan was soooo excited to wake up and see that Santa had come AGAIN!

Mia and Grandaddy got this Jeep for Evan and Henry to play with. The boys had such a blast on it. The accelerator was just a little bit too far for Evan to reach, so Grandaddy hotwired it so it would run without having to push the petal. The boys had sooo much fun in it!
