Labor day weekend was a rough one for Bastrop. We had some huge fires in the area, though our neighborhood stayed safe and thankfully we still have our home! There were lots of people who were not as fortunate. It was an opportunity to teach the boys about giving to others in need and being thankful for all of our blessings! The boys also had some opportunities to meet some local heroes in the fire department and EMS.
