Baseball week at sports camp!
Evan had a lot of fun with football and soccer and not so much fun with track, but Baseball was Evan's favorite sport to play in sports camp! He did really well with it and suprisingly did not mind all of the waiting that baseball entails. The first day they worked on baseball skills, one coach had half of the kids in one corner of the gym, learning how to run around the bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and home). After Evan mastered the bases, he went over to the other coach to practice dropping (not throwing) the bat and running to first base. When it was Evan's turn, he took a swing at the ball on the tee and the coach told him "Now set the bat down and run to First Base!" Evan set the bat down and ran all the way across the gym to the other first base that he had just been practing on! It was pretty funny and the coach learned he needed to be a bit more specific! All in all Evan did well with the camp and had a lot of fun.
