The first apple picking of the year!

Grandpa Lawson gave this apple to tree to Evan a couple of years ago. The boys have been told on countless occasions "Do not touch the apple tree! The apples are not ready to be picked!" After much delayed gratification, the apples were FINALLY ready. As you can see we got quite a few and there is still more coming. I forsee lots of apple cobbler (we've already made two), apple pancakes, apple pie, apple sauce, apple sandwiches (just kidding about that one), etc.
